I am Princess Katlyn
Katlyn and I just finished her latest book. It is called I am Princess Katlyn. Katlyn outlined the story, colored the illustrations and had final say on what went in the book. She loves the whole process of writing, I am so excited for her that she found something that she loves to do. Here is a little about the book.
I am princess Katlyn - The Pretty Princess with Down syndrome
I am very blessed to be part of a royal family, but just because I am a princess it doesn’t mean everyone is kind.
Many of the villagers had never seen someone as special as I am, and so they pointed and stared at me. This upset the King and so he declared “Everyone in the kingdom will be treated justly and kindly.”
The King wanted them to know that we are all different and special in our own way, and our differences are what makes the kingdom grand.
You, too, can make your kingdom grand when you remember this: "Don't judge at first glance.
Always be yourself."
We will be at Gigi's Playhouse for their PJs and Books event.

Hop in your PJs and join us, sharing reading with your family and a new children's author (with DS), Katlyn Aubitz. Katlyn and her mother Ann shared their book, Katlyn Conquers the World, in October. Now Katlyn has written her own book, I am Princess Katlyn.
